Physical Therapist
“Hello! My name is Kimberlyn and I am beyond excited to join the Unbroken team.
While I might be new to the physical therapy profession, I consider myself a PT veteran. Sports were always a passion of mine growing up. I played competitive basketball through highschool until I eventually found Track & Field.
In college, I fell in love with the hammer throw (the most bad-a** field event). After persistent low back and shoulder injury/rehab, I sustained an avoidable career-ending spinal fracture. I was unhappy with the medical attention that I received throughout my collegiate career. So, I decided that I wanted to be better.
My goal as a physical therapist is to educate athletes and provide them with the appropriate tools to facilitate their recovery, to maximize their physical gains, and to guide further independent growth towards healthy relationships with movement.
Physical therapy isn’t scary and it sure-as-heck does not mean that your athletic career is over. It is an opportunity to come back stronger and smarter than you were before.
I am excited to be a part of this team, but I am most of all grateful to have the opportunity to improve current sports medicine health care so that all the work that YOU put into your bodies is valued and respected. I can’t wait to watch you succeed!”
Physical Therapist
“Hello! My name is Kevin, my pronouns are he/him, and I am so excited to join Unbroken Rehab and Athletics.
My goal is to help athletes recover from their injuries, empowering them to return to the activities they love. I want my athletes to be stronger and more confident after their injury.
I decided to pursue physical therapy after the incredible help I received after undergoing 6 knee surgeries. This experience reinforced that PT is not just about rehabbing injuries; it is about protecting identities and dreams, something I know well after enduring chronic pain and giving up my dream of playing collegiate and professional soccer.
When I am not in the gym or treating patients, you’ll find me on the climbing walls at First Ascent, playing soccer with friends, reading a book at the park or spending time with my pup (Nala – happy to show you 1000 pictures of my sunshine).”
Physical Therapist
“Hello! My name is Rachel, and I’m thrilled to join the talented team at Unbroken Rehab and Athletics.
My passion for physical therapy was sparked by a high school soccer injury, deemed career-ending. But thanks to my physical therapist, I came back better than ever and now I strive to help others in the same way.
With a focus on biomechanics and evidence-based techniques, I tailor treatment plans to help surpass goals, whether it’s returning to sports or preventing future injuries. My philosophy is that with the right tools, the human body is truly capable of anything.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find me cheering for Chicago sports, exploring new restaurants, and indulging my love for music and various activities like soccer, running, hiking, yoga, and pilates. These passions enrich my holistic approach to therapy, emphasizing the importance of movement in enhancing our lives.
I can’t wait to meet you and work together to achieve your goals!”
