Any coach (and we mean anyone) can exhaust any athlete and run them to the ground. What’s ignored is the purpose behind all the exercises they’re programming? If there’s no purpose then that athlete is not going to transfer that training to the court/field/track.
This is why we believe in purposeful programming designed to specifically target every aspect of athletics. A few of us have our doctorate and advanced education to make sure we learned everything we could about how the human body functions and performs
We also believe in metrics. We have to make sure our programs are working by retesting our athletes’ strength, power, and endurance every 4-6 weeks. If they are making gains then we know we are down the right path. If not, then we pivot and prescribe exercises that will help them get to their goals
